The Youth Empowerment Fairs serve to keep our young people informed about higher education, employment, summer programs, health related issues, and prevention programs in their community. The fairs are done in collaboration with their school before the end of the school year. Students have an opportunity to talk directly to employers, law enforcement, admissions counselors, health professionals, and youth organizations to help them plan for the summer break. This helps to keep our young people busy during the summer engaging them in healthy productive activities.
